The W30C provides up to 30 W of charging power and supports Power Delivery 3.0, PPS and Quick Charge 4.0. The included cable is rated for charging power of up to 60 W and transfers data at up to 480 Mbit/s. Within this set, the maximum charging power is determined by the 30 W adapter. Reinforced strain relief between the connector and cable provides additional support at the transition point.

The W30C uses gallium nitride, also known as GaN. The material has a higher power density than conventional silicon, allowing power adapters to be designed in a compact format while supporting higher voltages and currents. The W30C measures 35.92 × 68.2 × 32.2 mm, weighs 48.5 g and supports input voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz.
